To apply for a TGCCPA Conference Scholarship or TCPA Conference Waiver, the following criteria must be met:
Nominations for the TGCCPA Conference Scholarship:
Must be an active member, in good standing, with TGCCPA for one (1) year prior to the conference requested (if there are any TGCCPA scholarships not awarded to those with 1-year membership, we will offer them to those that have newly joined; you still must apply by the deadline). You must have made your conference registration during the Early Bird time period.
Must attend six (6) TGCCPA monthly meetings during the aforementioned year (including Zoom meetings).
All nominations or requests are subject to approval by your immediate supervisor, if applicable.
All nominations or requests must be submitted by the due date listed below (no exceptions).
Two (2) individual registration fees will be paid by TCPA (you must have made your conference registration during the Early Bird time period). This year, TCPA requires those receiving a TCPA Scholarship to volunteer four hours at the conference. These two are called waivers, not scholarships. You need to complete this application as well as a state waiver (link below).
Five (5) individual early bird registration fees will be paid by TGCCPA (early bird registration fee only).
TGCCPA will cover ½ the cost of seven (7) individual hotel rooms. Members may share a room or pay the other ½ of the room cost. (Not to exceed ½ the cost of the hotel room rate offered by the conference per scholarship or waiver.)
The state waiver must be signed by the TGCCPA president. Do not send the form to the TCPA Secretary. The TGCCPA President will do that.
Deadline for all requests:March 18, 2024, 5:00 PM, for the State Waiver and the TGCCPA Scholarship.
